I’m Not Just Running — I’m Showing Up Because You Deserve Better.

I’m running for Justice of the Peace because you deserve better — better leadership, better qualifications, and a court that’s truly committed to doing the work for the people it serves.

When a court lacks consistent leadership, justice is delayed, dockets back up, and communities suffer. Our Justice of the Peace should be accessible, accountable, and fully engaged — not just holding the title, but upholding the responsibility.

As a civil and criminal litigator with experience in both state and federal courtrooms, I know what it takes to manage cases efficiently and fairly. I’ve represented clients from all walks of life — handling everything from landlord-tenant disputes and small claims to serious felonies — and I understand the real impact judicial decisions have on people’s lives.

My qualifications aren’t theoretical — they’re proven. I’ve built a law practice from the ground up. I’ve served as an Administrative Judge for the State of Florida. I’ve spent years showing up for people in courtrooms across Texas and Louisiana with competence, professionalism, and purpose.

This court needs someone who doesn’t just want the position — but who is qualified, capable, and committed to serving with integrity every single day.

I’m running because I believe in this community. I believe that justice should be accessible, efficient, and delivered with care. And I believe that Mesquite deserves a judge who brings real legal training and real courtroom experience to the bench.

A Court That Handles Less — But Can Do More

This comparison shows a significant difference in case disposition between Dallas County’s Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Place 1 and Place 2. While Place 1 managed to dispose of over 64,000 cases, Place 2 disposed of just 23,788 – less than half. With fewer total, criminal, and civil cases, Precinct 2 Place 2 has an opportunity to serve its community more efficiently, fairly, and with greater attention to each case. It’s time for leadership that steps up to meet that opportunity.

Did You Know?

In Dallas County, many Justices of the Peace are not licensed attorneys — and those who aren’t have never tried a single case in a courtroom. Yet they preside over trials, rule on legal issues, and make decisions that directly impact people’s lives every day — including evictions, small claims, truancy cases, and mental health warrants.

This should concern all of us.

When a judge lacks formal legal education and courtroom experience, it puts due process and fair outcomes at risk. Justice shouldn’t be learned on the job — it demands training, discipline, and a true understanding of the law.

That’s why this race matters. That’s why you deserve better.

You Deserve Better!

Interpreting and applying the law isn’t something to learn on the job. It takes legal education, training, and real courtroom experience. That’s why I’m running — to bring Judgment You Can Trust to the bench. As a civil and criminal attorney who has practiced in both state and federal courts, I’m prepared to deliver fair, informed, and efficient justice from day one.

Because when it comes to your rights, your livelihood, and your future — competence matters.
